Renowned garden designer Franchesca Watson has opened a Winelands satellite studio in the barn on the left of the property….

Originally trained in performing and decorative arts, Franchesca retrained as a landscape designer at the age of 23 and designs gardens for private residences, estates and hotels in Southern Africa, Indian Ocean Islands, UK and Europe. She has a cool eye for form and her gardens are distinctive for their understated sophistication and stunning plant choice. She is Contributing Garden Editor for Condé Nast House and Garden South Africa, has written books on the Stellenberg and Babylonstoren gardens and has been invited to speak about her work at international garden design conferences.
